Senior Go Programmer

We’re building a fintech product and are looking for a Backend Engineer (Go) who cares about correctness and details. A big part of our work is integrating with banks and payment providers: we receive raw data in different formats and need to normalize it into a consistent internal model and reliable business flows.

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience (Go preferred; strong backend experience with another language is acceptable if you’re comfortable ramping up in Go quickly).
• Hands-on experience building APIs and backend services in production (REST; payments/fintech domain is a plus).
• Experience working with data ingestion / normalization: transforming raw data from multiple external sources into a consistent internal model.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL), transactions, and data integrity; experience with messaging/queues (RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver tasks end-to-end: clarify requirements, propose solutions, implement, test, deploy, and monitor outcomes.
• Comfortable working in small, fast-moving teams where you have broad ownership and context switching is common.
• Readiness to support customer-impacting issues: occasionally helping outside standard hours, including weekends (not regularly, but incidents can happen and we need someone who can jump in when required).
