FinchTrade Now Offers RFQ Trading: Giving Clients More Control Over Execution

Apr 10 2025 |

Zug, Switzerland - 10 April 2025  — FinchTrade is excited to announce that it now supports the Request for Quote (RFQ) trading mode in addition to streaming real-time prices. It allows institutional clients to request and receive competitive pricing for large-volume crypto trades in real time.

This new functionality complements FinchTrade’s existing firm liquidity offering and is now available for all its clients. The launch introduces a more flexible and customisable procurement process, unlocking access to exchange rates fixed for several seconds and tighter spreads without sacrificing execution speed or reliability.

RFQ Trading: A Solution To Specific Use Cases

While Firm Book Mode provides continuous streaming pricing with "no last look" execution across aggregated liquidity, RFQ Mode gives traders the ability to submit quote requests for specific asset pairs and volumes, receive tailored pricing, and execute against the quote of their choice.

How It Works

  1. Clients select an asset pair and input the desired volume.

  2. FinchTrade computes pricing in real time and responds immediately.

  3. The client has 3 seconds to confirm the trade and finalise the transaction.

  4. The trade is executed.

Key benefits of RFQ trading

  • Customised order execution with minimal market impact

  • Access to pricing for asset pairs with low liquidity or no firm book coverage

  • More informed decision-making due to a fixed rate

  • API and GUI support for streamlined integration into existing workflows

“Expanding into RFQ trading via Finery Markets is a natural evolution of our mission to make institutional crypto trading as efficient and secure as traditional finance,” said Nicola Boldrini, Growth Lead at FinchTrade, “We're excited to bring our customers into a competitive, transparent environment where they can optimise their execution strategies with confidence.”

Get Started

To activate RFQ trading, FinchTrade clients need to contact the account management team. Once enabled, the RFQ section will appear in the GUI, and relevant API methods will be accessible.

This rollout further reinforces FinchTrade’s commitment to offering institutional-grade trading infrastructure, optimised for precision, performance, and cost savings — all under a secure, regulated framework.
